Suspense. Adventure. BadAss Heroines

Interesting article, and I learned a new word–fisk. Thank you. Although I’ve encountered fear of Amazon from others before, I miss brick and mortar bookstore browsing.
I like my local B&N bookstore, too, as well as the indie bookstores we have here (there are several). But, taking time to simply browse for books isn’t practical for me anymore–there are only so many hours in a day. I read at least 50% of my books on a Kindle, so online ordering is the way to go for me. I don’t remember the last time I paid full price for a hardcover, and don’t agree with high ebook prices for trad authors, so rarely buy them. That’s when I go to B&N and browse the remainder bins, or go to Costco to buy. IMHO, reading shouldn’t stretch your pocketbook.
